Does ThingSling come in different colors?
YES. ThingSling is currently available in 80′s Pink, Optimistic Orange, Glowing Green, Minnesota White and Brilliant black! All ThingSlings come with a black strap. If you would like to see a new color, please let us know!
Where should I put it on my device?
Part of the beauty of ThingSling is that you can place it where it makes sense for your hand, but it should always be on the back of the phone or device, not on the touch screen. We’ve found the best way to position the ThingSling is to slip your middle finger through the strap and then hold your device to see where it feels comfortable. Most of our users find that placing ThingSling just below center is the best spot.
How do I attach ThingSling?
Please make sure your phone and the ThingSling are room temperature. First clean your phone with the provided alcohol wipe and let dry. Remove the backing from the adhesive on ThingSling and hold firmly on your device for 30 seconds. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to get a strong bond. The bond will continue to strengthen for the next 24 hours.
Does ThingSling work on any phone?
Absolutely. It works virtually any case or phone (except on gel silicone). To make sure it works on your phone, check if you have a relatively flat and smooth space on the back of your phone that is 2.5 inches long and about an inch wide. (It doesn’t have to be perfectly flat or smooth.)
How long does it take to ship?
That depends on where you live, but most orders are fulfilled and received within 10 days.
Can I get customized ThingSlings?
Yes you can. ThingSling makes an ideal custom-branded promotional gift. (That’s right: swag!) We can brand ThingSling with your company logo and colors. Please contact us at johnny@thingsling.com for more information on custom orders.
Do you share my personal information?
Never. We use it to ship your product and that’s it.
Is ThingSling safe and legal?
If you have concerns about this, you should check with local authorities.
Can I remove ThingSling once I’ve put it on? Does it leave a sticky residue?
The best way to remove a ThingSling is to pull slowly on one side of the strap. Pry off slowly and carefully. We use the highest quality 3M adhesives to bond firmly, so do be careful when removing. We’ve applied and removed dozens of ThingSlings with no trouble, but we are not responsible for any damage that may be caused by removal. Our adhesive doesn’t typically leave any residue, but if it does, we recommend cleaning the back of your phone with rubbing alcohol.
If I remove it, can I re-use it?
Yes, you may need a new adhesive however. Contact us and we’ll hook you up.

Does ThingSling have a tacky surface? Will it prevent a phone or iPod from being easily slipped into and out of a pants pocket?
Hi Tom – No not really. The elastic band provides some traction, but the profile is so small that it doesn’t much affect the original feel of the phone or case it is attached to.
cheers,
michael
